About this role:
The Business Systems Analyst works with some supervision on projects of moderate to high complexity and independently on projects of low to moderate complexity. He/She serves as a liaison between the business community and Information Services (I.S.). This position contributes to the identification of solution alternatives, elicits and develops business and functional requirements that meet the needs of the business in a date driven business and application development environment.
The Business Systems Analyst will work with the GTS Brokerage Govern, Build and Run teams gathering business and functional requirements in support of Trade Customs Innovation Program (TCIP). The Business Systems Analyst elicits and analyzes business needs for highly complex projects, determines the impact and integration of solutions to business processes and systems, and validates that solutions fit within the long-term strategic vision. He/She collaborates with organizational stakeholders and senior management to establish and implement processes that enhance efficiency, and improve work products for the enterprise.
- Experience working with working with project managers
- Experience business process analysis, structured systems analysis, requirements change management, requirements prioritization
- Experience with Agile methodology, requirements gathering and documentation and managing customer expectations
- Experience in a customer interfacing role within a large complex organization
- Must have strong communication, documentation and planning skills
Intermediate-level proficiency with:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
